Ok, here's where I'll place photos of my new home: New Brunswick, Canada. I'll be here for at least one year, enough to sample the charming winter blizzards.

First, the map:

I arrived in Moncton at 12.15 AM Sunday morning...not the easiest time to catch a taxi. After waiting outside for what seemed like 20 minutes, the security guard offered to drive me to the hotel. That wouldn't happen in L.A., or Dublin for that matter. Here's the view from my Moncton hotel window:

Lesson about Canada #1: they have lots of trees.

The next day I met up with the heads of the animation studio, Gene Fowler, and his wife Tara. After being introduced to the cuisine of one "Tim Horton", we began the ~100 mile drive to Miramichi:

So many trees; unlike the God-awful drive from L.A. to San Diego, I didn't see one "gated community" or McMansion...

Who is that handsome devil taking snapshots? Oh yeah...

Finally, water!

Wait, more trees.

More trees.

Note: if at any time I hear the chant "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn", I'll hop on the first plane back to L.A. ...

Yay! A geodesic dome!

Cheerful.

We begin our approach!

Almost there...
