In 2005, my parents moved from a small town in Ireland (population 10,000) to Los Angeles, California (population 10,000,000). They found work helping an elderly Hollywood couple (celebs from the 1950s). They moved back home about six months later, for various reasons. This cartoon was drawn to commemorate the experience:
